Recipe for success of a project is made by many ingredients, one of this is essential: project management. Many projects fail to achieve result due to lot of reasons, all of them related to errors in evaluation, leading and coordination of implementation activities. Having the opportunity to rely on a senior professional fully dedicated is the key to secure the achievement of project goals.

SOFTWARE DESIGN

Nowadays the availability of tools and technologies aimed to software development is very huge, often differences are thiny and difficult to evaluate. The design of a new software requires high skills and care, so that all choices can always be made coherently with the company needs. Too often this task is appointed to “pure” technical figures who leave out from their choices many business implications very important to achieve the success of the new software.

TRAINING

Thanks to internet today everyone can easily access to the widest range of informations ever. The human knowledge has been digitized and entered into the network, so that nowadays anyone can study any subject by simply using a computer and an internet connection to access desired information. However filtering, organizing and structuring such information to transform it in a training course requires specific skills and knowledge that are the basis to guarantee the result.

PROCESSES RE-ENGINEERING

Businesses and technologies evolution runs nowadays at very high pace and being able to keep up is increasingly difficult. Often the company is aware of the need for a reorganization of processes, but it is always postponed to give priority to the most urgent business objectives. This behavior has a negative impact in general, but particularly on those areas in which small changes with a low impact could deliver far-reaching benefits. For example, re-engineering office automation activities often may require a relatively limited effort, but its positive effect in terms of efficiency/effectiveness gain could return valuable results.

1984

When I was 14, while my classmates were used to play games on Commodore 64, I used to spend my afternoons at my best friend home, writing BASIC programs on his Sinclair Spectrum ZX to create colorful geometric shapes of all kinds

1995

Passion became occupation when I joined Intesa (an Italian company part of the IBM group) as software developer to build applications aimed to support B2B communications

1999

In the followings years I built my professional skills working as consultant for Altran Italia in many projects and many roles: Team Leader, Database Administrator, Solution Specialist, Software Architect, Project Manager

2005

Thanks to the experience and knowledge acquired as consultant, in 2005 I joined Cisalpina Tours (Italian company part of Bluvacanze group owned my MSC SA) in charge as ICT Manager

2017

In 2017 I started a new, hard challenge: design and develop the software platform of SoundsOfThings, made by a mobile app for both iOS and Android, a Web Portal, a Backend API, an Analytics Server and a Media Server. I had to deal with a complete social network, with added complexities such as sounds based content and related techniques for audio signals manipulation.
